The school will dedicate its new turf field, which is patterned after an enormous American flag, prior to its game against Nolensville at 7 p.m. Aug 23.

The Guilford County Board of Education has approved its meeting and retreat schedule for the 2024-25 school year.
The Board will meet on the second Tuesday of the month to avoid scheduling conflicts with the Greensboro City Council, which meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month

Jackson High School recently received a Distinguished Facility Award from the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) for the renovation of the multi-purpose synthetic turf field on campus.

Make-A-Wish® Connecticut and Jackson High School leadership students teamed up to grant a once-in-a-lifetime wish for Emily Barnes, a 16-year-old Jackson student who was diagnosed with a life-threatening heart condition.

The Rockin’ Readers of Franklin Elementary emerged the 2022 champions in the district-wide Battle of the Books competition out of the 15-team field, after earning a perfect 20-out-of-20 score.
